oh my.
if any of you have done a colour run you will know what that means.
if any of you haven't done a colour run, you NEED to.
it's so much fun.
we took the two older boys to the Colour Me Rad 5k run yesterday.
they were so excited.
i had told them about it in the beginning of the week and gave them the option to come or stay.
braxton jumped right on board.
he was so excited to be able to throw colour at everyone.
he keep telling me all week how he was going to get my face.
(built up anger against all those times he got sent to time out i think)
makai was a little harder to persuade,
because he didn't want to miss out on soccer.
so on friday night i used my secret weapon,
"but makai, manning and beckett (his cousins) will be there."
and that ladies and gentlemen is how you bribe a child into doing what you want.
to makai this wasn't a fun run, this was a serious competition.
he ran out of the starting gates and did not stop.
that little champ was determined to win.
he ran the WHOLE 5 km's - literally.
he wouldn't even stop for the colour stations.
and braxton, well he got a free ride.
ON MY BACK - the whole way.
next year he'll be staying home.
i love how each day you discover something new about your children.
we had no idea makai had jevans competitiveness that drives his determination.
it was crazy awesome.
