we officially have a seven year old in our house.
one more year until baptism.
that totally freaks me out.
not for him but it means I'm getting older.
i never thought past my boys being babies and now they are well into childhood.
he was very specific with his food requests.
mcdonalds for breakfast, thai for dinner and a chocolate cake with ice-cream.
and that's exactly what we got.
he played a couple of rugby games in the morning
(even got man of the match and sung to).
he wanted to go to the blue mountains for his adventure,
so we headed to wentworth falls lake had a bike ride around it,
played at the parks and ate lots and lots of bad (delicious) snacks.
we ended his birthday as he wanted to,
thai for dinner and chocolate cake with ice-cream for dessert.
he LOVED his birthday i think because he finally graduated from a booster seat
and he's now joined the big leagues.
he LOVES sports.
playing and watching.
his favourite teams consist of the sydney kings, sydney swans, wallabies, waratahs, cronulla sharks and the sydney sixers.
he is a lego enthusiast.
i will be so forever grateful for him choosing to come to me.
he gives me strength and courage.
he helps me to keep on trying because i see how he never ever gives up.
he is always trying 120% to do the right thing.
if you ask makai to do something for you,
you can have reassurance knowing he will follow your every instruction down the line.
he is the perfect big brother.
he looks after his brothers and loves them so much.
he is so loving, kind and gentle.
he is our kai-kai and we would never change him
(and hope that he never changes)
for anything.
happy 7th birthday.
