They Call Me Mum

oh mothers day.

its the one day of the year we are meant to put our feet up.

i think the memo didn't make it to my three boys.

zayden set the motion off by waking up at 5 in the morning,

he has NEVER done that.

brax woke up very sick

and makai was just all sorts of craz-ay.

being a mum is hard - i don't even think hard comes close to describing it.

it is the most challenging thing i have ever done.

it didn't come with a manual - it's more of a learn on the job kinda thing.

it is the most rewarding thing i have EVER done in my life.

i love it and would never change my life for anything.

my boys are my life and i will love them for the rest of eternity.

they are the best part of me.

they are my teachers, they are my happiness.

they pick me up when i am having a crappy moment.

they make me want to pull my hair out and have me in uncontrollable laughter all in the space of 5 minutes.

they have taught me what true love is.

they are my most precious possessions.

they have taught me how to shower in 2 minutes.

they have helped me learn how to do a quick topknot bun on day 5 of greasy hair.

they have taught me that its ok to have nuggets/pizza/eggs 3/4 days in a row for dinner.
they have taught me how to change a nappy with only one wipe.
they have taught me how to drive with one hand on the wheel and the other holding their hand to stop them from crying.
they have taught me that a kiss can heal any hurt or dry up any tear.
they have taught the whole routine of Rock A Bye Bear.
they have how to embrace every day and seize every moment.

they have taught me what life is about.

they have taught me to be an adventurer.
they have taught me how much my mum truly loves me.

heavenly father sent me these three beautiful boys to call me mum.

they guide me through life more than i do them.

being a mother is truly a the greatest gift from heaven.
