An Lesson On Apples

we finished our easter weekend off with apple picking.

we got in the car and travelled to bilpin.

we stopped at the bilpin fruit bowl to tick off this bucket list activity.

if any of you go to do this with kiddo's, 

it's a good thing to:

1-check the weather forecast 

2- make your kids put on gumboots 

i did neither of these,

which got us 20 mins of apple picking time and 5 very muddy pairs of shoes.

the fruit bowl was buzzing so if you go over the easter period try going good friday,

there were barely any apples left to pick.

zayden was happy to eat all the reject apples full of dirt and grass.
not only was this a fun family activity but it also gave the boys a good opportunity to see where apples come from and how they start off small and grow into big apples.
they also do a homemade apple pie here,
for those who know me - i think you can guess how excited i was.
but they had all sold out by the time we got their boo.
