any type of special occasion is super fun in our household now with the boys being right into believing in both santa and the easter bunny.
being a parent seriously rocks at these times of the year.
not only do you get that priceless smile on their faces when they wake up to realise they have been,
but you have bribery for about 4 weeks leading up to it - it's awesome.
this year in the ormsby household the easter bunny left foot prints all over our house
(i thought it was such a great idea until i had the clean up duty!)
we have a couple of traditions that our family do for easter.
-we read in the scriptures what happened on easter sunday
-we eat hot cross buns and chocolate milk for breakfast
-we have an easter egg hunt
-the boys get something new to wear to church
-we give easter eggs to their family and teachers at church/school
i know that easter is not about the chocolate and the easter bunny,
but seeing their eyes light up, their bright smiles on their faces and the excitement in their voices
(especially braxton's - his goes three pitches higher)
is so worth it.
we do 100% try and teach them the true meaning of easter and why we have it.
and i will take any excuse to buy the boys a new bow tie each,
boys in bow ties are just ridiculously cute.
so i hope your family had a memorable easter just like we did.
on another note - if you are ever looking for cute bow ties or even headbands for little girls, check out little him little me.
hannah is so great at what she does and has a great selection of bow ties to choose from.
